Life is challenging!

It’s almost the end of the year di…time to say bye bye to 2007 and say hello to 2008…time really flies and cant even believe it i’ve been working for almost 1.5 years…which makes me think of how fast time passes…i guess i’m enjoying everyday of my job…sometimes challenging and sometimes stressed but overall i guess i love it judging by how fast time flies when i work in Public Bank(PBB)…still remembered my boss asking me how long i’ve worked in PBB when i answered almost 1.5 years and commented that it was so fast and i still can remember my boss interviewing me 1.5 years ago…well, she did added that i love my job thats y time flies that fast…i have to agree with her on that….

since my last post, i’ve not been updating my blog at all…guess sometimes i’m just too busy to update and at times i’m just so lazy to think of anything other than not doing anything, not think about anything and just watch a movie or read newspaper when i’m at home…

so what i’ve been up to lately?? lots of stuff…i’ve bought a condominium in SS2, Jasmine Towers…yes!! i finally bought a house!! of cos la with parents help…but i’m gonna pay the loan all by myself and on top of that pay back my parents in the future…1st house…i’m so excited about it…waiting for my quick rent, assessment, photos of the condo before i can apply bank loan….

secondly i’ve been quite busy during the weekends…basically its like i dont even see my weekends….all i know is i’m looking forward to weekends on friday and then in a blink of an eye its monday again…at least i’m putting all my time to good use…games on sat n occasionally sundays and being involved in music on sats n suns…

ok la…time to relax and watch a movie again…

Time for some updates….since i’ve not been writing anything for such a long time…neway i just wonder if anyone actually read my blog…hmmm…doesn’t matter…i’ll gonna blog anyway…just feel like writing something since i’ve not been writing any essay or story or biography since i left uni…now a days its formal writing as i need to write reports to be presented by my bosses in the bank…time for some informal writing….hehehe

so whats been happening lately?? hmm…i’ve just signed up for FRM examination which will be held on the 16th of November 2007….whats FRM anway?? it stands for Financial Risk Management. It is a professional paper which is specially design for people like me whose doing risk management….it covers all expect of risk…Market, Credit, Operational, Investment bla bla bla….thogh only Market will be relevant to me at the moment but its for my benefit to know everything since i wont be staying in market risk forever…would like to go experience other parts of risk…

y did i choose the course? firstly its because it’s cheaper compared to other courses…USD500 compared to other courses which are a few times the cost…and also because i’m doing risk management so it’ll be relevant to me….oh going on to the materials i need to study…makes me scared di…sigh! knowing me, i cant sit down and memorize and on the exam day vomit out everything…very reluctant to study but its for my future…so have to le…

and for those people who hasn’t met me for a long long time and dont know what i’m doing, i’m working in Public Bank in Risk Management Division…an overview of what i do….i handle the market side of risk…which looks at the market as a whole and how it’ll affect the bank…example what if interest rates go up or down, what if suddenly all our depositors starts withdrawing their deposits?? and also
looking at our investments n see whats the percentage of return by comparing to the expenditure….all these things la….

It’s been months since i updated my blog. Anyway here are some updates. I just wonder if anyone would read this since i’m kinda inconsistent in updating and most of my friends would think that i’ll never update my blog again since my last post is like few months back.

Neway here are some updates. I’ve been working for close to 4 months di. Yes! its a full time job and i’m gonna stick to this job for quite some time. Maybe 3 years? 4 years? well thats too early to tell what i’ll do in the future. For those of you who didn’t know, i’m working in Public Bank Jalan Ampang. Doing risk management. Its a fun job. Whoa whoa!! looks like i’ve not been updating my blog for a long long time di…well basically been kinda busy n also kinda lazy…at least i’m blogging now…

what has been be happening lately to me?? lots of stuff…went holiday wif the gang at cameron…really wonderful place..get to enjoy the cool air, nature, buy cheap fruits, relax, visited some farms and most of all get to know each other better…well dowan to explain too much…here are some pictures…

what else besides cameron?? errr…Chinese new year!! yeah…time for ang pous and more ang pous…yeap!! this year was truely blessed with the most ang pou in my life!! somehow money just keep coming in…truely a very very blessed year starting 2006!!

Nearly got into an accident yesterday man!! Was heading to BU3 at night to play basketball and was travelling on the left lane…2 cars infront of me which i dont know the drivers and the one following me behind was Alan cause he didn’t know how to get to the basketball court…suddenly, the car infront of me just breaked and the sound of tire squeeking…this was because the 1st car was apparently on SMSing on his phone and was about to miss the junction but he did an immediate turn…immediately jammed my breaks and swerved to the left…thank God there weren’t any cars on my left…if i hadn’t swerved or there was a car beside me, it wouldn’t be such a nice story…and Alan behind me also jammed his breaks…luckily his car had ABS…which makes it easier for him to stop…by the way, i know u guys must be thinking that i’ll definately be driving very fast at the moment…thats untrue..the fact is i wasn’t very sure about the place and was travelling at about 50km/h only…

by that time, Yvonne was already screaming at the top of her voice and froze for a moment…i could feel it also cause my heart was popping out when i heard tire squeeking sound, when i jammed my break and the voice of Yvonne screaming!! Phew! luckily nothing happened….

its time to shout freedom now!! after a few weeks of slogging…no joke man having 3 papers in just 2 days…u wouldn’t have enough time to finish studying if u do last minute studying….so i had my papers on Tuesday n Wednesday last week…guess it was alrite since i started preparing like 3 weeks in advance…to give my brain ample time to absorb all the facts…especially International Business…knowing that me n memorizing facts dont clique…so needed more time to absorb the facts…but it went well though! thank God…n now its freedom!!

What have i been doing after that?? going out wif frens n catching up with them…went to FRIM (Forest Reserve Institution of Malaysia) on Friday….u might be asking y FRIM? there are so many better places to go…reason being some people are just reluctant to spend so much and also its good to visit nature and to relax ur mind since we’re living in a concrete forest n things are so fast going…its great to see the greenary…its truely so relaxing…

What did we do in FRIM?? basically we wanted to go jungle tracking but then it was closed and they wouldn’t allow us to go track on our own…no choice…we headed to the waterfall area…and in the waterfall area, the higher u go, the cleaner the water…so we decided to track up…well…since we missed jungle tracking, this could replace it as it was trees and nature all the way up…here are some pictures

I know i’ve not been updating my blog for a long time!! well…here are some updates…i’ve not been online quite often for the past few months…reason?? cause i spent alot of my time at uni rushing assignment which is due during the exam period…thank God that my exams are held on the last week of the examination period!! so i was able to finish my assignment and have enough time to study for my exams…phew!! lucky…cant imagine what would happen if my exam was on the first week!

this will be the most hectic examination ever…cause i’ll be having 3 papers in 2 days(8th n 9th of Nov)!! n guess what?? i had both papers clashing…happens to be on the same day n time! what will happen to me?? the university has pushed 1 afternoon paper to the morning and i’ll have a 2 hour break in between 2 papers…during the time, i’ll be quarantined!! it means that, after my morning paper(which is supposedly held in the afternoon n i’m doing it in the morning due to clashes), there’ll be someone following me to prevent leakage of question…to the loo, for my lunch…whatever i do!! argh!! that doesn’t sound good…cant make any phone calls…cant even leave uni!! argh!! well…hopefully this wouldn’t happen again…

on the bright side…i think i’ve almost finish studying…though i need to go through my materials 1 more time…to make sure i dont forget nething…but then, i’ve went through all of it!! amazing…n my papers are in a weeks time! i know i shall not be overconfident!! but i’m quite happy…considering that i do not need to stress about the exams!

It’s almost 2AM now and i’m not asleep yet…gotta wake up at 8 tomorrow n get to uni by 9AM…reason?? cause i cant sleep!! irritating isn’t it? argh!! nvm nvm…so i shall update u guys on what happened during the weekend…

Thurs & Friday

Really dont know what went wrong!! argh!! Slept the whole friday b’cos i was sick!! it happened like this, ate lunch at around 1:30 on Thursday and didn’t had anything after that…had this stomach discomfort at around 8 something at nite…well juz a little…and ate my dinner at 9…after that it started!! went to toilet to "shit" and it was like me peeing…the difference was, pee is clear in color and "shit" is brown in color…and then, vomited!! could it be my lunch??

and then had fever the whole nite and till friday afternoon…so, instead of spending my friday studying n catching up with my uni work, ended up sleeping the whole day…argh!! thank God it was juz 1 day…and i could carry on my usual activities on Sat!

Tiring Saturday!!

Really tiring!! had a very very long day…woke up at 7:30 and went to SMDJ for a game of basketball with my uni mates…it was fun though after not playing basketball for like 1 over year…surprisingly i haven’t lost touch yet…also needed some excercise ler…remember?? needed to lose my tummy!! oh i’m looking forward to the coming Sat…if u guys are reading this, any plans?? Badminton, Basketball, Jogging??

had to reach church in the afternoon for worship practise and then youth service…so basically had no rest after basketball n breakfast…

church ended around 7pm including chit-chatting wif frens after service (which we usually do), then headed to Kelvin’s house for his belated belated birthday party…oh, it was fun watching those guys egged and floured him!! haha…well, kelvin if ur reading this, i wasn’t 1 of the culprit…didn’t touch the egg or flour…n by the way, i stood a distance to watch cause who knows he might juz come up to u and give u a hug….haha! i left like 11:30PM and reached home almost 12AM…really tired…

Went to Red Box in sunway Pyramid with the gang(Adrian, Ming Yang, Kah Leong, Shiou Wei, Yvonne and James) on thursday juz to chill out, fellowship and sing our hearts out since its holiday and we needed to relax our mind after some 10 weeks of classes, tutorials and study…i gotta say everyone who went really can sing…they each had their uniqueness…well everybody is unique!! if u guys are reading this, i had a great time! i’m sure u guys had too!

Adrian must be grumbling on the way home…cause he didn’t get to sing Britney’s song…the machine was locked b’cos of the time limit which is 6pm…so punctual…the machine was lock 6pm on the dot! dun worry Adrian, u’ll always have another chance…

I’ve been half deaf for the past half a week….y is that so u might ask…well, basically there was so much wax in both of my ear that it hindered my ability to hear…when people talk to me, if i weren’t paying full attention to them, i would be like "sorry, could u repeat again?" or "wat? i didn’t get u"…its really irritating…i tried my own way to remove the wax…with my finger n cotton butt…but it got worst…so finally went to see the Ear, Nose n Throat specialist today to get it checked n removed….the ear specialist said my ear tunnel (wats the real word?) which leads to my ear drum is small…so wax gets stuck easily…thats y i couldn’t hear…after having it removed, i felt so so so comfortable…could even hear the drop of a pin…haha…even the closing of my car door sounded loud…yay!! finally i had my full hearing back! oh n he did say something bout earplugs…he doesn’t encourage me to wear earplugs because it’ll push the ear wax and block my hearing again…but its so loud at times with the monitors blasting on stage when i play the keyboard…what to do…have to tahan la…no choice!!

errr…i dont know y somehow i’m more hardworking this semester….which is a good thing…u see, i have 2 assignment which is due in October but i’ve finish 1 n nearly finish the other one…so hardworking huh?? normally i’ll leave it till juz 1 week before its due before i start doing…its a good thing la…no need to stress myself when october comes and can concentrate on preparing for my finals…

and for dancing…i haven’t heard any news from my friend whether we’re dancing for the Ball…i’m can’t wait to know the results n hopefully we’ll get it!! Adrian Teh: if ur reading this, what happened?? i thought we were supposed to be notified yesterday…i’m quite excited bout it by the way…
